There are more V8 motors in the world than just a 4.6L or a 5.0 Ford, mmmmk?

"Hemi"....suckers can make WAY more than 425 carb'd n/a....now take a dry manifold (not a wet like a carb uses), boost it, and add EFI.

I'd love to see some punk try to hang with that, lol.

yes well, ricers can have all the boost they want, it still dont sound as good as a V8, never will. a VW with a turbo pulled up on me one day that had a turbo and kept blowing it off at me, i got sick of it and gave my baby a 4 grand on the tach, well he shut up and left me alone, let the ricers get near our tailpipes, we'll blow their paint off<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"> <edited><editID>jBrandtGT</editID><editDate>37976.942650463</editDate></edited>

on a typical street car...it's pretty easy to get an import to hang with a V8. my crx weighs almost half as much as my stang...and with about a 165rwhp motor (CAI, full exhaust, and edelbrock intake manifold), the thing flies. the only reason i drive that most of the time is mainly fuel economy...and it's just faster right now<IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">. it actually isn't too hard to build the turbo cheaply either (it doesn't take "many many more dollars"). i'm rebuilding it with low compression pistons and upgraded fuel w/a T3/T4 for about $2000 (that's everything...boost controller, turbo, wastegate, custom piping, BOV, pistons)...it'll only push about 8psi, but that should be enough for now <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">. but like a few of you have already said...there's no way to match the V8 sound...thank God the ricers will never have that.</P>

ps-i know the turbo kit would be much more effective on the stang...but i just have much more experience working on my rex.</P>

wow buddy, thats bold on this site, i will never bow to a 4-banger ever, nor will i ever own one, it makes me sick that a mustang would lose but it happens and that only makes us want to win more right?<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley10.gif border="0">
