Default Trying to get gears installed in central Alabama... HELP!

I been searching for a few weeks now, and I can't seem to find a good shop to install 4.10 gears in my 04 GT. I live in Montgomery, AL and was wondering if anyone on here knows of any shops in this area that I should check. (I was told to make sure that the installer was very knowledgeable before handing over my keys.) Thanks in advance for the help.

For what it's worth, I took my Mustang to my GM dealer. May sound funny, but I trust the guys in their shop. Installation plus an oil change was around $450.

$450 is a great price for a stealership

OP call any driveline shop not mom and pop auto repair shops they tend to shy away

I found a shop that will install them for $475. But the guy told me that the speedo does NOT need to be readjusted because I'm not changing tire size, and because it's an automatic. This doesn't sound right to me. What do you guys think?

I think it will still throw off the speedo. If you have a hand held tuner, it will be a simple fix. You can either change it every time you change tunes, or you can download a new tune and have it ready to go very time.
Maybe I'm wrong about needing to change it?
