Fuel pump/inertia switch/ccrm HELP
So just my luck I drive up to the gas station put in half a tank and my fuel pump decides to quit. Well the car drove fine up to the station, but when I went to go start it up after pumping gas I didn't hear the "whirr" of the f/pump. Needless to say me and my old man towed the car back home and started test lighting all the wiring harness connectors. Ok here's the deal when I turn the key to the on position I can hear the ccrm clicking. I have power back to the inertia switch in the trunk so I believe the ccrm is working fine. I could be wrong but if the f/pump relay is toasted in the ccrm there wouldn't be juice going to the inertia switch correct? Secondly the connector that goes from the inertia switch to the fuel pump I don't get a reading with the test light. (The wiring harness connector right in the middle of the rear bumper just above the gas tank) I'm thinking the inertia switch might be shorted out somehow. The cars a 97 and I just want to be sure it's not the fuel pump before I go spend a 100+ dollars on a pump and realize its something else. Help me out guys!!!

Not sure... somebody proly knows tho. But have you ever changed the fuel pump ? Might as well go in and change that and the fuel filter its not too hard ,, pretty old car man.
If dropping the tank,, be sure not to break the blue fuel check valve canister on the top of it...

Its probably the fuel pimp, just disconnect the fuel pump wirring by the tank, get two leads, ground the ground then run one lead from the connecter to a power source, if the pump doesn't come on then obviously its the pump.
