Okay guys well awhile back my pi intake decided to crack on me well I went and got a dorman cause I cant find a oem one around here and I finally found my problem. Its the little o rings on the lower part of the mani where it meets the block I can hear air being sucked in threw there big time now. My question is how do y'all get these to seat right. I put the intake on and the my COP'S to line everything up but still same sucking in air big time and I dont want to tighten the bolts so tight to where they break does anybody have a suggestion cause only thing the auto parts store here has is dorman and the ford dealership just quoted me 708.98 for the motor-craft one.

You can try to get new o ring for the dorman intake .the o-ring moved while you was putting it back on the engine. Ford PI intake manifold. You can get them for around $200 new on E bay, and AM.

I put my dorman intake on with no issues. I know the instructions were very clear not to over tighten the intake bolts or maybe you just got a bad one or managed to pinch a gasket.
