Grey smoke is typically burning oil. If you get it when accelerating it you may have worn piston rings. This is normal with high mileage.

How many miles are on your car ?

Are you losing oil ?

When I still had a two valve in my car I had the same simptoms, ended up being valve seals.

I have just over 96,000 miles and I lose a little oil I think, but when I bring it to get serviced they never say anything about it being low.

Valve Seals definatly mine went out on my 96 cost me about a grand but I also did a head swap at the same time. IF your wanting to put cams in I would do it at the same time youll be right there.
