Default Tail Pipe Hanger Bushungs

Only had the '02 Gt for a few days and today I noticed the pipes hanging low. When the previous owner put or had the catback installed, they did not put the pipe hangers through the bushings. The bolts that hold the bushings to the body will not move, neither side. Tried to maneuver the piped into the bushings but there's not enough play.

Without unbolting the catback, is there a easier option?

It is hard to say without pictures. It might be easier to loosen up the exhaust flanges to give yourself some play and start attaching the exhaust to the hangers at the motor side of the exhaust and work your way to the back. Once they are all on, torque the bolts down to factory spec starting at the motor end of the exhaust, working back towards the back of the car.

Good luck...

I just took it by a muffler shop and they cut hanger, put the exhaust in place and welded it back together. Good to go now
