&good luck on taking them valve covers off. Its not too hard its just the bolts that are at the strut tower are hard to get too. That's is you have a 99-04 Idk about the other years.

Took my other head off; correct me if I'm wrong

See how each piston goes down a little and the last is all the way down.


Now on my other side it should be the opposite right? But it looks like this.

It has third piston top dead center.


I thought it my piston on the driver side is all the way up the Corresponding piston should be all the way down on the passenger side. Am I right or wrong?

& do you think the head bolts that came out are strong enough to lift the rest of the block out?

All that extra is the wiring harness. Just the pistons and oil pan and the block is left. I think the head bolts would be strong enough to lift it but I just need to make sure.
&do I need to take the starter off or is it only connected to the bell housing. That's what it looks like but I'm not sure if it connected to the block as well.
