Are they duel piston? Im not to up with the 99 models . Either way you should not have to struggle with them to go back in. On or off the car.

Yeah, it sounds like either a bad caliper or a collapsed/crimped soft or hard brake line. I have seen rubber lines collapsing internally, although it was on really old lines that had been abused. It could also be crimped/bent/damaged hard brake lines. Just follow the line up from the caliper to the master cylinder. If you see it is bent/damaged/crimped then it needs to be replaced.

Good luck...

When I replace thisinr, how should I bleed the brakes? I've heard different things, do I start at the rear wheels or bleed just this one wheel?

You can try bleeding just the one wheel if your lucky it will work. Chances are youll need to bleed all four, starting from the furthest wheel from the master cylinder and then the next furthest. So rear right , rear left, front right , front left.

Oh okay thanks. I'm in the process of replacing the hose now. I just hope its not the caliper.

Well I got it all back together and bled them, and its still sticking. Not as bad but it sticks and the brakes were really hot compared to the rest. Caliper I guess?

Yes, it is the caliper. Replace the caliper.

Money is tight at the moment, so could I get by with replacing this one caliper? Or do I have to do both? The one is fine and looked fine when I pulled it yesterday

I would only replace the bad caliper. There is no need to replace a caliper that is functioning correctly.
