My dad had some old Mustang parts lying around today, and he gave me his Hurst shifter from his 86 GT. It was mounted to a T5. Would this shifter mount onto my transmission in my 99 GT? I heard that you can use shifters from T5's and T45's without any problems.

The t5 and t45 use the same shifters so you should be fine if you have a t45.

what about other transmissions? would it only bolt up to a T5 and T45?

I believe those are the only ones , not real positive.

If you have t45 it will work wont work with a t3650
