Tuner questions
So my gears and tuner arrived today (the replacement pedals were missing, but that is another story)
Does anyone know if the tuner from am that comes with the gear kit can be used for custom tuning at a dyno, or did I just blow 380 bucks?
Reason I am asking is that I noticed today there is a different tuner that specifically mentions being able to dyno tune, while the tuner that came with my package does not. (Both are the sct sf3/x3 tuners, but one is preloaded, the other are Bama tunes.)
I plan on supercharging soon, and hoping I didn't blow the money.

If your tuner is a licensed dealer for that particular brand of hand held then they can usually load the tune into your hand held for you. The tuning software they use is just more involved then anything you can get in a hand held so they write the program on a PC and transfer it over.
However, I always say for a heavily modified car that is never going to run a stock tune again the hand held tuner is a waste of money since they aren't necessary and are rather limited in capability.

You can use your tuner to tune your current set up and take advantage of the free tunes for life. Every time you add a new modification, want a revision or just want to try a new tune, let the Bama team know and they'll get you a new tune sent out! Then when you go supercharged, you can take your Mustang to a shop to be Dyno tuned and use your current device to store the tune.
Hope this helps!
