Exhaust setup help
Im looking to purchase an exhaust setup to be welded in. I dont want something so ridiculously loud, but loud to a certain extent. I wanted to get the super 44's but it seems like they are kinda muffled down on sound clips on the internet. Can anyone suggest anything with this choice and do i need to have something that will make them louder without being an offroad x pipe loud?
Thanks for all feedback!

Using a larger tip will cause a deeper and somewhat louder sound also. I have used 3 - 3.5" x 18" on numerous muffler types with good results. Just don't let the tail pipe extend into the tip when they weld it up.

I have pypes off road h pipe with pypes cat back exhaust with pypes violators mufflers, with 12 inches of 3.5 inch tips, I won't change this set up for anything else. It's deep and not that loud until you get on it and it has a great tone that doesn't drone out like flow masters. If I were I'd go to a mustang meet and listen to what you like

if youre not gonna change out the mid pipe then you should go with a straight through style catback. Something like slp lm1's lm2's or powerflos, magnaflow magnapacks, borla stingers. setups like these will be loud but not crazy loud with the stock midpipe

I really like the borla stingers s type, could i just buy the mufflers to fit the 2.25" tubing and a bigger tip and have the same sound as the cat-back system they sell with those? trying not to spend a ton of money

I have the MagnaFlow duals on mine with an x-pipe (no cats). I used to put 40 series Flowmasters on my cars because I like the raspy sound.
I now prefer the MagnaFlow system because there is absolutely no drone at any rpm. Flowmaster sounds good but it gets annoying really quick.
