Default Figured out my issue

Hey all thanks for all the great suggestions, I happened to post my issue in another forum and a guy suggested check to see if my TC was on and it was. never thought of that due to at a rolling start I could break tires loose with no issue. but now all is good. even bounced off the rev limiter a bit in 2nd. whaoo cooking tires now.

Wow, that makes perfect sense. I forget that they came with traction control.

Default Traction control

The traction control on these cars drives me crazy. I like having it on for rain and snow type conditions, but not all the time. It ALWAYS defaults back to the 'on' position....
So after doing some research I found this little gizmo (installs behind instrument cluster) and I must say it works AWESOME!

It remembers the 'last' position you had the switch set to every time you start the car! NO MORE defaulting to 'on'!

Pouring rain today? No problem, just hit the factory switch and turn traction control back on. Well worth the $25 to have selectable control at my fingertips again!

Hi not sure about the Gizmo to make the TC default to off but I have a 2001 and the button on the console in front of the shifter for the tc has a light within the button itself that light's up when traction control is off. although there is just a slight delay from the time you depress button to the time light comes on. hope that helps.

Alright the fuse is good does that mean the switch is bad. Also the abs light stays on all the time. And is there a way to turn the tc off untill i get a new switch
