Default Shaker scoop v.s. painted scoop

Well guys thought I would ask around here see if anyone else has had this issue. My car came with the cdc shaker hood system(see link below), Which Im trying to get rite of. I need something to cover up the hole in my hood left from the shaker hood. I was wondering if the painted hood scoop from American muscle (see link below). If anyone has had this problem looking for some info or ideas

Check the measurement on the bolt on hood scoop. It look like it is to small to cover your CDC opening. Probably easier to just buy another hood.Good luck

^ This is probably correct. I'm not exactly sure what the gap on the CDC opening is so it may not cover the opening completely! Your best bet may be to just replace the hood.

I can definitely help you figure this out though! If you'd like to measure the opening, I can measure one of the hood scoops for you and we can see how close you are. Let me know what I can do to help!

The cutout measures 16.5" the length of the car and 14 the width of the car

Thank you for providing me with this information. Let me see what I can find out for you! We have our pre-painted hood scoop installed on a couple different project cars here.

I'll report back shortly!
