Can you install long tubes without dropping the K if it's tubular?

Default Can you install long tubes without dropping the K if it's tubular?

Okay so I want to put in a tubular K member, and I want to go long tubes in the future, but I don't want to pay for a tune right now. I was going to wait to put in the long tubes till I get my blower ported so I can get one tune for both mods. I've heard that installing headers without dropping the k-member is nearly impossible, but is this still true with a tubular k member, or is there enough room to squeeze them in? Is a tubular k member easier to drop or is it hell like the stock K? If it's just as bad as the stock k, and I can't squeeze the headers in with a tubular k I guess I will just wait, but I looked all over multiple forums and can't find anything out about this. Thanks

K-member is easy to get in and out. All in all it's like 8 bolts and whammo out it comes.

If you're going to do both though I would just do them at the same time, why do the work twice ya know? But to answer your question, probably depending on the brand of header.
