Default oil / coolant in the engine valley

Today I noticed that the drivers side under the intake manifold in the valley of the engine was wet. I can't tell if its coolant or oil, and the passanger side is dry as can be, but the driver side looks pretty nasty. Would this be a cracked manifold or head gasket? my car is a 99 gt with the pi motor.

also, what are the chances that my manifold has cracked? and how would it crack? i believe its the PI manifold being that I have PI heads. It has the aluminum crossover. or would you lean towards a bad gasket?

Bad gasket most likely but it could be the manifold. You will have to pop it off to see the underside of it to check. My car has been through 3 of them in it's 165K of fun until I got sick of it and bought an all aluminum one.

Okay, well I plan on taking it off today to see what I find. I just don't see how the gasket would go bad.

I took a closer look at it, and its wet right around the aluminum crossover. I believe its leaking where the aluminum crossover sits on the plastic. its only wet at the bottom around that area.

well heres a picture of it. you can see its a little wet at the bottom of the aluminum piece, and it looks like it may have been also leaking from the thermostat as well. cant really tell.
