Stick or Auto, Advice please!

Stick or Auto, Advice please!
So I've been looking for a 2002-2004 mustang gt for over a month now and its basically come down to two choices, an automatic2002 black gt w/35k or a Manual 2003 dark blue gt w/50k, both are the same price. Basically my main question is, is the manual that much more fun to drive than the auto and is it worth getting if the car has more mileage and a little worse color, saying both are the same price. I've always wanted to get a sports car that's stick, but since I'm in need of a car relatively soon I'm running out of time and choice, hence im put in this dilemma. So any advice on whether getting a stick and sacrificing mileage and color are worth it. BTW, the car will be used for about 30-40% city driving the rest normal daily driving...thanks in advance for your input

I would never trade my manual for an auto, but it all comes down to your ability to drive one. I wouldnt worry about the mileage if your planning on keepin her awhile or the color that much cause there are plenty of sick looking blue stangs on here also. Up to you boss.

Personally, ive had both and i would never go back to an auto. Not only does a manual transmission put more power to the ground, it gives you much better control over the vehicle. Plus its a blast to rev it up and dump the clutch for some tire roastin fun!! get the stick man, blue can be very sweet, i have a blue one even though i wanted black. But i get so many comments ono the color im glad i got the blue. my 2 cents.

if youre buying the car for fun, get a stick. I hate driving sticks myself on a day to day basis, and have thought about a 5spd swap for my auto (even bought a few parts) but decided against it after getting a shift kit + tune, once I get a torque converter then the fun will begin. Its all personal preference.
