Default Heli Coil + Piston= Grrrr

Long story but the meat of it, had a bad skip, found #3 plug was loose, someone repaired stripped threads with heli coil, coil came off plug at idle, thank goodness and this is the end result:

To the touch there is no gouge or scratch in the cylinder. Off to the machine shop tomorrow to get checked out.

Perfect time for a forged assembly . Also sucks about the heli coil man. You should get the heads repaired right with time serts, or upgrade to newer heads

Would like to go forged but it's just in the card right now, dont plan on any FI or spray. Already found another head, taking both to be reworked and have aftermarket springs installed for the CMS Stage 2 cams.
