Default Is there a preformance intake for NPI heads?

96 Gt, some ******* replaced the intake with a Dorman and he permatex the **** out of the o rings and did a real half *** job so I have some idling issues and decided to pull the intake and replace or repair it so I know it was done right. Does anyone make a performance/aluminum manifold for non PI heads, cant seem to find anything except for PI heads and the Dorman (not happening), will the victor Jr fit? or any for the pi motor? Thanks

My bad guys, just read the post about NPI and PI intakes, I now see that the Pi manifold can be fit to a NPI head, my next thought is Nitrous in the future, will the plastic intake handle that? or should I go to the Victor?

It's just cold fluid so the nitrous won't hurt the manifold by itself. A nitrous backfire will blow it to bits. Run a dry kit so there is no fuel in the manifold and voila no dangerous explody parts.

In all seriousness though, just PI swap it. It's so cheap now it will probably cost less than a nitrous kit.

Thanks Steve, that's kind of what I thought, guess if it back fires it would prob blow an aluminum manifold off the heads too! will have to look into pi heads, was hoping to have it ready for spring and still have a lot to do to the car itself.
