Default Seat questions

Just bought an '00 GT, loving it! But I find myself wishing the seat would go down lower. My car is a convertible, and it feels like my head is sticking out the top even though I'm not particularly tall. So, since it's faded anyway, and since I'll take whatever weight loss I can get, I think I'm going to replace it. My question is, if I want a lower seat that retains the sliding functionality, are there any bolt-in solutions?

A few of the aftermarket sport seats will sit a little lower. My Corbeau seats dropped down a couple inches lower than the stock leather.

If you have the power drivers seat, it might be stuck in the up position. My seat will go up and down and tilt forward and backward as well as front and back.

I do have the power driver's seat, but it's not stuck, I can raise it...it just doesn't go down as low as I want it to. When it comes to sports cars, I like sitting almost as low as possible. Corbeau seems to be the way to go (and I see Corbeau seats pop up often on Craigslist for good prices), but if anyone knows of any other options, lay 'em on me!

Suggest you call Tony Colicchio at TC Designs in Milpitas, CA. Perhaps he can recommend someome in your area.
He installed OMP Tuning seats for me with custom made seat rails.
I fit so much better in the car and my field of vision is much better on road course track events.

Just might do that, thanks for the heads up! What about AM's no-name racing seats, anyone know if those are lower than stock?
