Exhaust rattle
I noticed a rattle at 2,000 rpm it seems I only be detectable around that rpm it is like a clunky tick noise I had the car checked out and was told it was most likely an exhaust leak, at first I thought it was the Trans but it also makes the noise in neutral any advice on the usual suspects a heat shield maybe and exhaust hanger?

Welcome, Great time of the year to be rolling around under your car in IL!
Most exhaust leaks I've heard-make the sound at all RPMs, just get louder the more gas you give it.
This might take two people to locate, one to rev the car and the other to chase down the noise.
If you get a big screwdriver or a wooden broom handle about 18" long, you can put it on your exhaust pipe anywhere and listen for the sound. You'll tell right away if it's a mechanical rattle, they are transmitted though the metal more than the air. You can put one end on your engine to see if it starts there.
I'm guessing that RMK is right, sounds like a loose exhaust shield or broken hanger.
If you get paper towel tube and put it up to your ear, you can determine the source of sounds transmitted though the air, like exhaust leaks.
You should be able to record it and post it so we can all play it back.
