Remove the inspection plate and see if the flywheel is missing teeth. You'll have to rotate the engine several times to check them all.

Will do. As for the knocking I started it this morning and she was cold and didn't hear knocking at all. Even high rpms driving, until it started warming up iccould hear the knocking. It seemed to be at a steady rpm or when I let off the gas. But when I'm into the gas I don't hear it

Again, classic rod knocking. High RPM is a good way to chuck it through the side of the block.

I got the same problem, Bangs on start up during acceleration and deceleration but not at idle. i have unbolted everything, exhaust, motor mounts, egr. i'm going to jack the motor up 3" or 4" take the oil pan off, pull the rod cap and check the crank. if it's within specs i'm going to put a new bearing in and hope for the best. you can buy Undersized Rod Bearings 0.025 mm, 0.026 mm, 0.050 mm & 0.075 mm, if its out of spec i will try to match it as best as i can. should know by the end of the weekend.
