Here is the '96 through '04 Redbook information, note that Traction-lock was never offered as an option.

Many confuse the PCM/ABS controlled Traction Control and Traction-lock. T/C was standard in most MYs, but optional in a couple...

Yep, you are right. I know the difference between a LS rear (traction lok) and traction control. I could swear I saw a magazine review of these model years that said the LS was an option, but they could have gotten it wrong too.
