Ford Blue going on. It's a lot darker than it appears in this photo. I think it will darken up more as it dries as well.

Got to love that crosshatch pattern. This picture, without a flash, also much more closely represents the true color of the block. ARP head studs and Fel-Pro MLS gaskets are also in this picture.

Just ordered Centric rotor kit, Ford Clutch fork, Pivot ball, and engine to transmission bolts from LMR.

Got a reman power steering rack for a 2003 Cobra from Rock Auto. That completes his steering (other than a solid steering shaft, but he will have to do that later if he wants) and his brakes will be complete other than stainless lines ($150 at American Muscle).

I've been following your rebuild silently for awhile. Things are looking really good, nice work. Can you tell me if there is any sort of drainage at the aft end of the valley between the heads, or is it a water trap? One more, your first pics look like your car might be Highland Green, is it a Bullitt?

There is a plastic plug that goes into a hole that leads to the clutch. I'd guess that it's about an inch and a half in diameter. If any water sat up there, it's not going to get to anything since there are no electronics there. You can see this in some of the first pictures I posted.

It's tropic green and a GT. Would be nice if it were a Bullitt, but no. It does have the Mach 1000 audio system.
