I've had others tell me exactly the opposite. This isn't going to be an ultra high horsepower build. I think it will do just fine.

Got a call from the body shop. It turns out the radiator support had been replaced once before. Whoever did it last time didn't get it on straight. It took some work to clean up the old welds but the new one is on and aligned as it should be. $425 in labor, and I know this guy so he's giving me a discount. I'll try to get a picture in the morning. Won't have a trailer to pick it up until Friday at the earliest.

Called Mod Max Racing and it will be another week before they get the rods in so that they can ship the internals kit to me.... ugh...

It's been almost 2 weeks since I ordered the internals from ModMax.... still not shipped. It wouldn't bother me so much, but they charged my card at the time of order. If they didn't have the parts in stock, they shouldn't have charged my card until they were ready to ship...

I opened it with adobe, anyhow its a write up on 4.6l blocks. there is a reference to my original post in regard to romeo blocks that were used with AODE had a gusset added.

Its from Reinhold Racing if you Google it you may be able to find the article. No big deal just wanted to point out where the info came from. I would be mad too that's a long time to wait for parts.

On the other hand my car is running well after rod bearing replacement i waited till i got about 100 miles on it and put my foot in to it yesterday, it responded well.

Looks like the internals are finally getting shipped and should all be here by the end of next week. Time to get to work!

Got the suspension and K-member removed today. As typical, the lower control arm to K-member bolts are a bitch to remove. I've got the nuts off, but the bolts are seized to the metal sleeve inside the bushing. I have them soaking with penetrating oil now. I still don't have the rods or pistons. Hopefully Monday...

That should make getting the engine back in much easier.

Some rust to clean up and paint. The entire engine bay is going to be POR 15 satin black. I think we are going to get a POR 15 engine paint kit in Ford corporate blue to paint the motor.
