install motor with headers?

install motor with headers?
I've got the motor out of my car right now and Im going to install new long tube headers. My question is can I install the headers on the engine and then put the motor in from the top? I have a qa1 k-member already installed in the car so I have a lot of room. A guy I know says that you can do this but i wanna check with people on here as well. Thanks
