Help Help Help NO CLUTCH!!!
Man I just got a new clutch 3 months ago and I was driving it yesterday and I went to put it in reverse and I got absolutley nothing! I looked at it this morning after having it towed back and I think maybe the cable or assembly isnt working?
There is no resistance on the pedal AT ALL I looked under the dash and when I move the clutch pedal the cam the clutch cable is on doesnt move at all? There is a small white block at the back, it looks like its a combo stop block and also depresses the kill switch and is attached to a metal arm extending from the bar that rotates with the pedal.
Kind of seems like those should be connected???, I can move the cam with my hand and there is resistance on that? Think the cable might be ok???
Help the car is immobile!!!!! Thank you!

Clutch and cable is ok you have a broken quadrant. You likely broke the paw that engages the quadrent, it is held on with a pin, it has teeth that mesh with the quadrant and its what moves the quadrant .
Notice also the teeth on the quadrant, if those are striped the paw has nothing to hold on to .

That is exactly what it was. Unfortunately, I didnt have time to order a metal quadrant and ditch the factory bits, I had to buy the whole assembly, and I couldnt pull the old bar out so I took the new quadrant and pawl off the new assembly and put them on the old bar. Works fine. So I got it back together and literally 5 minutes later the coolant started leaking at the heater core nipple on the manifold. Fun week.
