Default Idler pully boss broken, Damn IT!

Hi all, upon fixing up my new to me mustang for the lady to use, the idler pully boss on the timing cover snapped off. It popped off at about 10-15 ft-lbs. I guess its better that it's broken it in the garadge than broken down in the holland tunnel again... So anyways I tried to fix it, I haven't seen any write ups on how long this lasts with the washer trick. So day one is today, fixed, 123k on the car. I drilled and installed a thread coil M8-1.25. Installed new idler pully and torqued down to a little more than 20ft lbs. I took the broken boss piece and drilled out the threads and used it as a washer. Curious to see how long this lasts. Will be posting in wtb for a replacement timing cover just in case.
