No crank/No start/No nothing
Ive recently aquired a 2002 Saleen S281 supercharged. Cars been sitting a long time. Ive reset the fuel cut off and no luck. Ive jumped the starter and it does crank so I know the engine isnt locked up. Turn the key....nothing, nada, zip, zilch. Is this something that could be caused by the PATS system? Its the only thing I can think of....
Any ideas?

Is the anti theft light flashing on the dash? Generally when it is a pats problem the light flashes. Do you have the original key with the transponder in it, or is it just a blank key that was cut for the ignition?
It could be pats related, it could be ignition switch related, you may have a bad fuse or relay.
When you put the key in the run position do you get any lights on the dash as all?
If you get no lights on the dash in the run position, then it is likely a fuse, or the ignition switch. You could also have lost 12v constant to the pcm. Does the fuel pump run in the tank when key is turned?

Try this procedure. I stole this from another ford site.
" Turn the key till the gauge/warning lights come on. The anti-theft light will flash really quickly, as I'm sure you've already scene. Keep the key this way for about almost a minute. You should see the anti-theft light noticeably slow down. Once slowed down, turn the ignition off. Count 40 seconds off, turn the ignition gauge lights back on. You should see the anti-theft (either slowly flashing) or turn off quickly. Now, you've synced your key, she's ready to start. "
