Default Tires Cut Up from Hitting Fender

I am posting this here since these wheels and tires were on a 01 cobra, I however drive a 08 v6. I believe, correct me if I am wrong, but the sn95 owners experience the need for rolling the fenders more often, so I am hoping someone has an answer for me

I bought these rims and tires used.. late at night (1am) and didn't see this. I guess when he had them on his 01 cobra they rubbed and got cut pretty badly, even though he said he had light fender rubbing and had to roll his fenders...didn't see this that night, but it definitely isn't light... can I repair this? Fill them in or anything... I don't want to shell out 560 for new rear tires

Are these tires condemned for use? Or is it just cosmetic?

the guy told me they are good for about another 5k miles.....

but I guess I will have to look into new tires .

I really don't want to spend almost 600 on new tires... I totally got ripped on CL..but I guess that's what I deserve for acting fast. :/

I would have to agree on new tires. They look to be wore almost to where they need to be replaced.

Oh it's cool...I'm slowly removing it to be honest. Wasn't a fan of it :/

Ugh. I can't afford to replace these. It's like $600 for new ones...just the rear.

Anyone have any suggestions or coupon codes or anything to make this more affordable for me? :/

First off, get your fenders rolled. Do that before replacing the tires, otherwise it's just gonna happen again. Are those 17 or 18 rims? If 17, get the Mickey thompsons from am. Outstanding tire and on sale right now.

Theyre on an 08, and by the looks its not lowered. They were on an 01 cobra that caused the rubbing.

My fenders don't come close to rubbing... and these are 18s

Yes, you are correct, I have an 08 and I did not cause the rubbing. This pic was taken when it was jacked up. She sits like this though

Missed they are on a 08. When/if you lowered, you will need to roll the fenders. The tires will be fine though, but cosmetically they are kinda gross.
