I have mine paired up with a Mac catted x pipe and it's quite a bit louder than the original 40s that I ran for like 4 years and they don't drone nearly as bad as the 40s did. I have been running my 10s since like mid to late 2009 and I have no complaint at all about them around the city and long trips on the highway. They do still have that classic flowmaster rumble to them even though it's a small muffler and its a bit louder.
