Question Trottle response problem and battery

Ok well I just had to replace all the intake manifold gaskets on my 96 GT. Well after I put everything back on it started up fine with a little gas but its running now like the throttle response is lagging, well I drove down the road and it died on me and now the battery won't keep charged and it's still not running like it use to.

What could be causing this? I'm thinking it is running lean but can't tell if it's running lean or rich, I've been told that it could be a vacuum leak or my injectors. Any help would be appreciated.

A vacuum leak will cause your car to run lean. This is because you have air entering the system that is not monitored/measured by the MAF. Since you had the intake off, I would think a vacuum leak is probable.

As far as the battery, did you have the alternator disconnected/removed? It sounds like it is not maintaining your battery.

Vacuum leaks are pretty easy to find, I'd start with a vacuum gauge to make sure that is a problem. Gauges are about $15 at most auto parts stores and they come with a chart that will give you a lot of info about your engine. I'd check all of the vac lines to make sure that are not cracked or loose-or miss-connected. If this looks OK, you can spray starting fluid around the manifold gasket, the engine will pick up revs if you hit a vac leak. be careful doing this, starting fluid is very flamable .

Alright I figured out my throttle problem it was my TPS (throttle position sensor). but now I have a new problem. I just replaced all my gaskets on my intake manifold a week or so ago and tonight I was running someone and after we ran my car started leaking coolant again around the manifold, well after awhile it quit and I drove it about 25 mins home and it wasn't leaking anymore what could be causing this?
