Default 4.6 2v timing chains

I was looking at replacing timing set in my 96 GT. Every one I look at is over 200 bucks. But for a 97 f150 with same W vin code is 90 something bucks. What I'm wondering is will they work in the mustang or what is different? I thought the w vin code was the same block in the mod motors across the board. Thanks in advance for info

Autozone shows the same part number for both the 97 f150 and the 96 gt.

Cool thanks. Wonder why the mark up is so high for mustang then.

I don't know its the same price at the zone, a little over 200 bucks. I suspect its because one of the kits does not include the chain guides and instead is just the chain.
