I am looking at buying a 1997 Mustang GT the body looks good but the starter is gone and the car will not start is there anyway to tell if the car will run when i get it replaced and how long will the engine last cause the guy said he had nitrous on it and did 115 on a public road it has 144k miles is it worth buying it has flames with base black no rust he wants $1500 but he said he is vary flexible on the price thanks for the help

also has short shifter and straight piped and a aftermarket intake man he said the stock one when out and I think that is a red flag idk thoughh

If its a 5 speed then just get the guy to help you push start it , or hook a tow strap to it and pull it.

2nd gear at about 10-15 mph let the clutch out when you get up to speed make sure the key is in the run position.
