Shifter Story

Nothing wrong with the tri-ax, i had it for years, and if you missed third you must have been nervous.
imnot sure which one i have wen now but its a ridiculously short shift, i just which i could stretch out the handle some.

Ha I don't think I was nervous. I didn't like having to put the extra focus in to hit third or take that extra split second to make sure it hit third when slamming gears. I don't have to do that anymore with the mgw.
I compared these shifters within two hours of each other installed on my car and I could tell a difference. I had been driving with the tri-ax since I got the car and then installed the mgw. Granted it was a tri-ax with unknown miles (less than 75k though because that is the mileage on the car) vs a brand new mgw. But still, there was definitely a difference. I don't know what more you could ask really.
If someone already had a tri-ax, it may or may not be worth it to switch (stupid me never bothered to check before I bought the mgw). But if you were buying a shifter regardless, personally I would recommend the mgw considering they are about the same price point.
Anyways. Made a spiffy new shift boot to show off the new shifter.
