getting a loud whining noise form engine, and also get another noise that sounds like a pulley going bad. anyone have any ideas?

I don't really hear anything in the video that is cause for alarm. It sounds just like the t45 trans I had in my 2000 after I rebuilt it with new synchos and bearings. Mine did it because the previous owner had driven the car for years with bad bearings in the trans and when I replaced the bearings it made a slight whine due to the gears being worn in an odd pattern from being driven with bad bearings.

That's good to hear. Engine has 164k miles so I wouldn't be surprised if it were the same situation. although sometimes it gets really obnoxious and it sounds like a turbine winding down and then people stare at me haha. I also should probably check the trans fluid levels . Thanks so much for replying!
