Hey Cominus,

Congrats on your purchase!

In most cases, you do not have to worry about the CEL. The high flow cats in the Pypes mid pipe should work to keep the light off!

What are you next plans for the car?

The cats won't last long. From personal experiences the CEL will go in about a year; or less.

The cats on my Bassani lasted until the ceramics started coming apart. Even then they didn't trip the cel. Pypes cats do have a reputation of failing quickly though.

The cats will be intact though right, it wont end up being like a gutted straight pipe?

Honestly the car already has a bit of mods, nothing heavy, all it needs is gears and maybe a cam a little later down the road.
