Default Thermostat Housing help!!!

Well I got the right bolt off, im struggling with the left one, I know its a 10mm, I used a socket but it kind of stripped...how do I take it off, do I just take it to the dealership? I heared they had a special tool to remove bolts like that.

You can buy some sockets that are made for removing stripped bolt heads and nuts.

Youll have to look for a set that has specific size for 10mm-3/8"

Op, both methods that whitefox and dawson mentioned works. I use the 3/8 socket trick when im in a bind, but be careful not to damage the plastic manifold. The sockets designed to remove stripped bolts work wonders and keep a set myself.

I bought a strip bolt set that have the metal pieces in the corners, they had another set but they looked like they were for removing the bolt permenetly. Hopefully it works tomorrow.

You don't plan on reusing that bolt do you? If it was me Id take it out and just go and buy a new one.

The dealer might have it but I would check at a local auto parts store to see if they have it in stock.

If all else fails, they are simply 8x1.25 bolts, just find some the correct length
