Default Engine ID

So here's a question or rather a survey if you'd indulge me. The 8th digit is the engine ID. X is supposed to be Windsor and W is Romeo.
I'd like to know by VIN if anyone else has a Romeo with an X. For a quick reference go by the following.
Romeo=11 rocker cover bolts
Windsor= 13 or 14.

Thanks for the reply. Mine is a Romeo with an X. From the few responses I've gotten on other sites, seems like regardless of whether you have an X that should indicate Windsor you may have a Romeo anyway which should be a W code. Apparently 96,7 & 8 could be MUTTS so to speak. Here is some interesting info on the subject if anyone cares to look through it.

After doing some research it looks like the 99 to 00 Mustang got the Windsor's the 2001 to 2010 are all Romeo's. That's why the vin on a mustang is an X only indicating a 4.6L SOHC and doesn't indicate a specific plant.

It's been a while but if I remember there was a fire in the Romeo plant in ny? And while they were rebuilding the 99-early 01 got the windsor motors.
