Cool HID and Lighting Questions :D

So I plan on putting 8000k HIDs in my headlights with the proper projection headlights so I'm not blinding anybody. I'm also getting Raxiom LED turn signal lights. So I want my fog lights to match the color of the 8000k HIDs and LED turn signal. Should I also put 8000k HIDs in the fog lamps or would an LED fog light look similar enough? I'm not worried about actually visibility with the fog lamps by the way. Thanks in advance!

I would personally go with all leds or hids, when mixing bulb types it could get hairy. Now with that said if you do the proper research it is possible to match up bulbs very closely. just compare the pictures of products your buying.
hope this helps bud

Having LED fogs will be the best option as HIDs generally do not last long and either the HID light will go out or the ballast will. LEDs will be cheaper and last a LOT longer. Having HID low beams and LED fogs has nothing to do with each other and will not get "hairy" like above post claims. Trust me. OVer the course of 5 years I went through atleast 8 sets of HID lowbeams and 4 sets of Fogs. I did have DTR lights also which makes less life on the lights.

as long as you get "sealed" ballast they will last a long time. I have ten years in the electrical trade and have had more problems with leds then with gas bulbs.. simple get sealed ballast, don't touch the bulbs with bare hands and make sure your head lights don't leak. I had the same pair of hids for 2 years now and have been swapped out of 3 different cars
