My local shop guy charges 850.00 + for complete install, then another 250 to 350 for dyno at reeves performance, so i figure around 1500 to 1600 tops done right that is

Good decision. Putting cams in a car shouldn't be done by a shade tree mechanic. Learned that one the hard way.....
