Default 2001 4.6 swap in 98 gt

Hey there so I have a 98 mustang gt with a really bad rod knock, it will drive but I haven't moved it. And I traded 87 ranger for a 2001 mustang gt with side damage, and good running motor only 60k. So I guess my real question is 2001 motor and trans a straight drop in to my 98 with know I'll need my timing chain cover for my coil packs. Is there anything else I need to be ready for?

I would swap just the engines just for simplicity. Since you have both cars, any small things you MIGHT need you will have. The 2001 engine also makes a little more hp.
