Default would you pay more for a 35th aniversary edition?

ive been looking at cars for a few days now I looked at a black 99 35th anniversary edition it has 87,000 miles its pretty clean the hood scoop is faded and there is some cracking in the paint on the hood but that's it I offered 7000 cash he wouldn't go lower that 7600 he kept stressing that it was a special edition with the different spoiler rear honeycomb piece and so on but it doesn't seem that special to me... is it really worth any more than any other gt... he had a box of stuff that came with it and the sticker that said it was a 2600 dollar option

it is not worth a single dollar more than a 2000, the "edition" is nothing more than a badge, and a few cosmetic mods

A 99 GT of any edition isn't worth more than 6 grand. For 7600 you may be able to find a 05 GT.

I found that it is a limited edition... doesnt seem to effect the actual value the old man who is selling it thinks it will be a collectors item I wish he would come down but oh well I looked at an 02 today with 120,000 pretty clean he said he would take 5800 it has v6 wheels for some reason... it looks pretty plain drove good has a new clutch and intake manifold

IMO the only 99-04 mustang that will be a collectors item will be the 03-04 cobra and Mach 1.

Bullits might bring a little but more , if it was an original 35th with less then 50k and garage kept I would pay a little bit extra for a 35th, but nothing outrageous .... I do miss my 99 but I wouldn't pay 7600 for one with all most 90k on it
