wont go in gear, need help

Default wont go in gear, need help

i have had my 2000 mustang gt 5speed for only a month. when i got it, it worked fine. now it wont go into gear when motor is on but shifts fine when off. now sometimes it will work fine then stop letting me back in any gear and will grind if i try to go in reverse. i got a new cable already

Sounds like the clutch is the prob, was it having problems before replacing the cable? There is an adjustment procedure for the cable.

It has a newer clutch , and had the problem so I go an adjustable cable thinking it would fix it.

did u check your quadrant? its the part the cable attaches to at the clutch pedal, the factory one is plastic and prone to breaking
