Rebuilt engine will not start, only turns over

the p0605 code indicated that you have a faulty pcm, get it replaced and reprogrammed by a dealer. i have seen this code before, and replacing the pcm has fixed it( the code) 100% of the time. good luck

its not a power/ground issue, or he would not be able to pull codes. its a internal memory fault, kinda like a bad hard drive in your pc, only difference is the hard drive of the pcm is micro chip based ROM

every time i have seen that code it has been caused by the pcm, and fixed by replacing the pcm. in order to replace the pcm, you will need a new or used pcm and you will have to get the car to a dealer so they can program it.

Ok, will I have to take the entire car to the dealer or can I just take the PCM? Because I would have to get the car towed there as it is still not running. Then who knows if it will still run after that, as there realistically is no guarantee of that.

I guess I don't know what to do next. I would have to get it towed all over. I should probably just take it to someone who specializes in mustangs and can properly diagnose my car because I feel like Ill never get the dang car running otherwise.

So more on the situation. So I sent my pcm and tuner into diablosport. They reflashed my pcm with factory data and loaded my tune onto the car. The guy said that the pats was never turned off by TSS who wrote the custom tune. So I got the pcm and hooked it up. I still have no start condition. What is odd is now the theft light flashes like crazy when I turn the ignition on. Is that normal when the pats is turned off? I just don't know what to look at next? I checked all the fuses today. This has been quite frustrating as I'm sure you could imagine, especially now that summer is over and winter is approaching. (I live in WI btw)
