Here is what I will tell you. I have a built 4.6L short block. I have Trickflow heads 38cc, CMS Stage 2.5 N/A Cams, Trickflow Intake Manifold, Professional Products 75mm TB, MAC Long Tubes, Offroad X-Pipe, Amercian Thunder Cat Back. Circle D Stage 3 (multi-disk) 3500-3700 TC. It is putting down about 305 to the tires with a horribly done dyno tune. I need to put in bigger injectors and I'm going to swap in 3.75 gears.

So there is a starting point on where the numbers are.

I would go with Trickflow Heads.

Trickflow heads are most def a good start. What type of FI are you going with (Vortech, KB, Procharger etc.,)? You'll most def spend a preety penny getting to 700. You'll have to also have a damn good fuel setup. Maybe a cobra tank, dual pumps, KB BAP etc. Some more guys will chime in and set you up for success. GL!

I used stock bore and stroke forged shortblock, patriot stage 3 heads, CMS stage 3 blower cams, TFS intake, Novi 2000R pushing 23lbs and made 700rwhp. There are better heads out now which will make it easier. Biggest problem is belt slip so 700rwhp was pretty much the limit because I already had the best of the best stuff trying to stop the slip.

I used 60lbs injectors, sumped tank, A1000 pump, aeromotive rails and regulator and switched it to return style. I sprayed alot of meth so if you don't plan to use meth injection you will need bigger injectors. I was at 70% duty cycle even with spraying meth.
