Default Bad fuel pump?

Car ran absolutely fine yesterday, and today would not start at all. Motor turns over, it just won't start. Fuel filter is brand new, with under 2k miles on it. No error codes.

I am probably the worst person with a wrench on a car on the planet. So hoping some folks here might have some other things to check out to help me along.

How old is your battery? Might want to start with a load test. Will the car jump-start?

Before condemning the fuel pump, you'd want to test the actual pressure,

Battery is 6mo old, so I know that isn't the issue.

How do you test fuel pressure if your car doesn't have a schreader valve on the fuel rails?

Do you hear the pump priming when you turn the key to the 'on' position?

If not, find out why. Check related fuses/relays, inertia switch. Check for power at the inertia switch, if you have power there then it's likely the pump took a ****, but I would then still drop the tank and verify that voltage is making it to the pump before ordering a replacement. If no power at the inertia switch then you have an electrical issue somewhere.
