Default Setup for open track days

Hey everyone. So the build is finally beginning for my brothers mustang and first thing I want to do is the suspension. Already got upgraded brakes but I'm curious as to what setups to run for the track? I'm going staggered but not sure if should run 17s or 18s

Road course action requires square setup, I run 275/40/18 B.F. Goodrich sports comp 2 as they are cheap for the quality, you need Koni sports and cc plates and rear lca's as well.

audioAl is correct on the wheel/tire setup. You want a balanced setup starting out, and its a good idea to just start driving at local events and learn the car. Talk with local track junkies and read, read, read!
As for 17 vs 18, either with work fine. The 18's will be a little heavier but tire selection is just as good as 17's tire selection.

Thanks. I usually drove the fiat and I'm helping my brother get the car together.

I friend of mine drives a few alfa's. Tell your brother to drive the ***** off that car and have a blast!
