Default 2001 GT problems

Im going to make this short. A few months ago my air intake manifold cracked and started leaking coolant into the spark plugs. Ever since this my car has had a miss and I cannot seem to fix it. Is it the ECM messing with the injectors? Coolant leak? EGR? Things done:
Air intake manifold replaced
MAF, IAC and throttle body cleaned
Fuel filter changed.
Spark plugs and coils replaced(all 8)
First start in 5 weeks. Is this steam or white smoke from something bad like a head gasket?*

Could it be because it had been raining/snowing at it was 5 or 6 weeks. I also have no cats on the car.

I have no cats also, true duels back to flowmasters. You could have had some water in the cylinders, but if it doesn't clear up shortly after a complete heat cycle then there is something else up.

Sound byte for attention.

I know exactly what your problem is you bought the same gaskets I did when I made my mistake from a parts store it gives you the gaskets for the non-pi intake the PRI intake has little rubber reusable gaskets if you install the gaskets for the non-pii intake it will leak also you made sure that the two bolts on the underside of the intake we're tightened correct

sounds like your new manifold has a leak somewhere did you clean your matting surfaces real good before putting the new gaskets and manifold on

Started it up today. Pretty sure it was just steam the other day. Makes sense since we had 3 feet of snow. Today it only had a little steam. Still has a miss of course. Its going to the garage on Tuesday.

Just got mine out of the shop for the same reason. First of all. I bought the car used. It appears that the previous owner had an aftermarket intake installed. Found out that the manifold was warped and as a consequence antifreeze was leaking, going down into the spark plug wells and was shorting out the plugs. The expensive fix was to replace the manifold with a Ford OEM, change the spark plugs and coil boots. Runs like new now.
