Default 2002 GT Convertible cranks but won't run

I have changed out the CCRM, ignition switch, fuel pump, and fuel filter. When I put the key in the ON position the only thing that comes on is the radio. I don't hear the fuel pump kick on and the instrument cluster doesn't light up either. Can someone please help me out? I bought this car and haven't even been able to get it running yet.

It could be an issue with the anti-theft system - or the key. If the computer in the car doesn't think that the correct key is being used - it'll crank but wont start. Swapping the gauge cluster would cause the same issue.

Unfortunately I don't really know of anyways of testing that out... I would contact the previous owner and see if the gauge cluster was every swapped out. But I think if you changed the ignition switch you would need to get the keys programmed anyways.

The instrument cluster hasn't been swapped out. I have no power to the spark plugs, fuel injectors, fuel pump, or the dash. Would the anti-theft cause this problem?

The car sat for 8 years, should I drop the transmission and change out the stall converter as well as change the oil in the transmission fluid? Or is just changing the transmission fluid enough?

Check the main power fuses under the hood. sounds like the pcm is not getting any power.

All the fuses under the hood are good. Half the fuses under the dash do have power and the other half don't.

Random guess.....could this be a ground problem?
Was the car simply stored,or was it put away with an issue?

The car was stored with this issue 8 years ago and was never attempted to be fixed. I don't know how to check for a ground issue.

When I say "stored" I mean the guy parked it in the yard and didn't move it for 8 years!

I would simply check your impact button in the trunk and see if u have fuel pressure in your lines, at this point nothing you do will be simple you checked all that .. time to get dirty. check all the intake hose's no one cracked one wont cause this but if you have a few pressure lines rotted out it could or a crack in your manifold do you hear any strange air movement when cranking? you need to haul it to autozone and have them run a check on the computer that will tell you at least weather it is getting a connection to it or not.
