Angry NEW CLUTCH INSTALL PROBLEMS

okay i have i question ijust installed a clutch on my car it start up, when i press the clutch is i hear a lil tick tick tick, & im grinding second gear & it that cause my clutch cable too tight ? i have a 63 on it now i had to pry the fork in to make it fit? & is my throutbearing supposed to be spinning while the car is in neutral & my clutch fork is shaking :/ while in neutral as swell

if the cable was too tight, the clutch should slip and not engage fully, so that shouldnt cause any gear grinding. if you are running the stock quadrant did you reset the clutch mechanism by pulling up on the pedal? this will reset the self adjuster for the cable length. i hate to say it but if the fork is shaking you may have bent the clutch/and/or pressure plate fingers on install.

It sounds like something didn't get lined up correctly to me. The clutch fork should not be shaking.
